Let me preface saying SoundMagic PL30 one of my favorite budget earphone which keeps me engaged even after listening for long hours. The price of PL30 was very less an year back - around 1000 bucks, now the market price is around Rs.1600.
Accessories and Build Quality
The earphone comes with 6 pairs of ear tips, a pair of ear clip and a Travel Pouch, Ear hooks and a cable clip.
The build quality is good with strain relief cables. It has L-plug and bass kobs for each ear. The earphones does not contain R and l marl on it, instead it has a red and blue rubbers as indicators and no hint will be given on the pack for how to use it. I always remember it as Red for Right. I am using this earphone for almost an year (sometimes during sleep as well) and no problem with it yet. The rubber cable is really good.
Technical Specs
Sound Quality
Let me emphasize the sound quality by saying sweet mids and airy sound. I tested the earphone with my IPod touch and Cowon C2. The mids will sound more sweet when I listened with my IPod. I think this little buds make many listeners engaged for a long time with these assets. The mids are sweet and forward. The bass is just present and not-lacking by any sense. Some times the bass will be bloated with a bit high volume or when the bass knob is on. The highs are also average and not recessed or not forward though.
This earphone should be worn from behind the ear to get a proper fit. This is specially designed for gym use or during workouts. So, it will never slip your ears when you are running or doing exercises.
Adjusting Knob, turn the bass knob towards the colored rubber strip to on the bass and turn it away form the colored strip to off it.

The PL30 are fun sounding earphones producing sweet vocals with spacious soundstage. You will definitely not disappoint with the sound if you are not used to hi-end IEMs. SoundMagic is a good option for those who are looking for a good earphones without burning their wallets. Many audiophiles have written great reviews about this little earphones. If you are looking for a budget earphone for the price and you are not a bass freak then you can try PL30. If I wanna compare it with the entire PL series of SoundMagic then I can say PL30 comes second where PL50 wins the race but with almost twice the price of PL30.
